Marco Asa starts his research activity in the NaBiS group as a master student in March 2014. In December 2014 he receives the master degree with honoris in Engineering Physics with the thesis “Electric control of magnetic properties and electron transport in multiferroic heterostructures”.

Currently his work is mainly devoted to the growth and characterization of functional oxides for applications in spintronics and to the realization of devices exploiting magnetoelectric coupling.
