Daniela Petti received B.S. and M.S. degrees in Physics Engineering from Politecnico di Milano in 2004 and 2006. In 2010 she obtained her PhD in Physics from Politecnico di Milano, where she is actually fixed-term Assistant Professor in the Physics Department. She is co-author of more than 42 research papers (h-index: 12) and 2 patents. She started her activity in the field of spintronics. Currently, her main research interests are related to the use of spintronic and magnetic platforms for biosensing, mechanobiology and for the study of neuronal networks for the development of new neuromorphic computing schemes. She is coordinator of a 3 years project “Ultrasensitive Magnetic Array for recording of Neuronal Activity –UMANA”. She gives annual courses of classical Mechanics and Thermodynamics at Politecnico di Milano.
